This approach provides metrics that can be used to evaluate the potential of improvement achievable via intelligent eco-driving techniques and the performance actually achieved by any of them. It can be the basis for an evaluation of a fleet of vehicles and of a whole city for which an energy efficiency map could be derived, depending for instance of traffic management strategy. Experimental data are provided to illustrate the approach for a fleet of electric vehicles in an urban environment. The methods proposed are intended to be the basis of a driver assistance system oriented to optimal eco-driving. %X and available online here Cet article fait partie du dossier thématique ci-dessous publié dans la revue OGST, Vol. 67, n°4, pp. 539-645 et téléchargeable ici D o s s i e r DOSSIER Edited by/Sous la direction de : A.
